  2. For Marination: Make bone deep cuts in the chicken pieces and apply the marinade. Marinate for atleast 2 hours, refrigerated.
  3. After the marination put the chicken pieces in a baking tray, pour and distribute 1 cup peas and 2 potatoes cut into pieces evenly around the chicken pieces. Cover the baking tray with aluminum foil making an air tight seal. Make a 2-3 holes in the aluminum foil with a fork for letting steam out.
  4. Preheat the oven to 150 °C. Put the aluminum foil covered baking tray in the oven for around 30-35 mins till the chicken is done.
  5. For the Brown Sauce: Fry the 3 onion slices till almost black in colour. Add 3 cups of water and let it boil till the broth turns a dark brown. Then strain the broth. Let it cool to room temperature. In a separate pan put 1 tbsp butter, 1 tbsp maida/cornflour, 4 tbsp Worcestershire sauce and salt to taste. Make a smooth mixture. Now slowly add this mixture to the cooled strained broth, stirring constantly to ensure no lumps are formed.
  6. Remove the aluminum foil from the baking tray and pour the brown sauce over the chicken. Serve.
